Dear Dr. Du:

As a family, we wanted you to know how much we appreciate all that you have done for us. We cannot even begin to thank you for all your help and support. You have not only given us help and caring medically, but also emotionally. You have been sincere, caring, supportive, funny, and, most of all, dependable. You have not only helped our family—but when asked—you have helped our friends.

Our journey with you began several years ago when I first came to you for a pain issue. I had been going to my doctor and other specialists for several years (almost 6). After only 8 acupuncture treatments I found relief. The treatments were non invasive and very effective. I never felt discomfort or pain from the treatments. In fact, the treatments were not only effective; they were a time for reflection and relaxation. I began to worry less about my health and the future. I felt you were a life saver.

When menopause became an issue in my life—I called you. You took care or the hot flashes and the sleepless nights. What a joy it was to be able to sleep again.

It was only a few months later when Larry, my husband, needed your services. He was having pain and had found no relief thorough our regular doctor. He began coming to you and again you were wonderful. Within a very short period of time and just a few visits he also found relief.

Then, when our daughter Elaina could find NO relief from our family doctor or specialists for the many, many debilitating warts that she had—you not only helped her—you cured her. The warts had begun to grow under her fingernails and were beginning to become more painful. She had gone through years of having them burnt off, frozen off and cut off. When the doctors decided that she would need to go through a 6 month regimen of chemo therapy (YES, chemo therapy) we decided to call you. Thank God that we did. After only a few treatments, she has been completely free of the warts. She can again use her hands in public and not be self conscious.

Then, my automobile accident happened this past February. I was seeing a chiropractor for my neck, back, hip and elbow issues but the doctor seemed to be making no headway with the pain I was experiencing. So, as usual, I thought of calling you, Dr. Du the miracle worker. I am so glad that I did. Helping me with the pain issues—helped me in so many other ways also. The pain in my right elbow was debilitating. I could not even pick up a glass of water. It took only a few visits for the pain to almost completely subside. We are now working on the neck and hip issues and there has been great relief there. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be MUCH better soon.

And now, just to let you know, the friend that we sent to you for his back issues has called us to let us know that he is ecstatic. He told us that he has had more relief from the pain now that he is seeing you than he has had for the past decade.

I have been struggling with the thought of what I could say to even begin to describe how Dr. Du has changed my life. There seems to be no words with great enough meaning, but I will try nonetheless.

I have been tormented with migraines for most of my life, 42 years to be exact. The pain has been excruciating and I have been through a multitude of treatments and medications in my search to alleviate or lessen them. Nothing was working. Continuously, the migraines got more frequent and the pain more debilitating. This year, 2009, I had severe migraines every day for the months of January, February, March, and April. I was bedridden most days from them. I felt despondent and overwhelmed with the hopelessness of the situation. Then someone whom I was close to suggested that I try acupuncture. It seemed like quite a long shot to me. I didn’t know much about acupuncture but was ready to try anything at this point. This is how I came to know and admire Dr. Hanming Du.

When I arrived at the Acupuncture & Chinese Medical Center in Sunrise, Florida, I was a broken man. I was in pain so often that I had forgotten what it was like to be in good health. Dr. Du really took the time to listen to me and to assess my situation. It is obvious from talking with him that he is a very kind man and very well educated. He has had 8 years of college in China in his field and he is also board certified in both China and the United States. In all, Dr. Du has had 25 years of experience (so far) in his field and it sure shows!

Since I have been a patient of Dr. Du (6 weeks, for two to three treatments each week), my agonizing migraines are almost non-existent. Also, I am now off on all my pain medications for the first time in years. It is nothing short of miraculous. He has succeeded where so many others have failed and I am eternally grateful to him for that. Dr. Du has a way about him that is very calming. He smiles frequently and is easy to talk with. When he does the acupuncture treatments on me, he is always gentle and I feel peaceful and at ease knowing that my care is in his hands. During the course of my treatment with Dr. Du, he also incorporated different herbal medicines which have worked effectively for me. Every morning when I wake up pain-free, I feel wondrous. I feel thankful.

I highly recommend Dr. Hanming Du. His knowledge is vast. His skill is impeccable. His nature is compassionate. He is a man that I am truly honored to call my friend and a man whom I will forever hold in the highest esteem.
